Morgan Lesiardo – new team for 2020

Young Italian, Morgan Lesiardo has a lot of talent – he even won the EMX250 championship in 2017. But the results haven’t been what he expected since he moved up to the MX2 World Championship.

Lesiardo was with the Racestore team Max Bart Racing team this year but will be back to Yamaha machinery in 2020.

The Ghidinelli Yamaha Racing Team have agreed a deal with Lesiardo which will see them move up to contest the MX2 World series.

For the season ahead, Lesiardo will contest the European rounds of the MX2 World Championship as well as the Italian Championship. 

“I am very happy to have reached this agreement with the Ghidinelli Yamaha Racing Team but above all to have known Morris from a working point of view. I see in him a very passionate and sincere person in what he does, one that really puts effort and dedication into it. Finally for the next I managed to get what I wanted with a good team and a good bike. Naturally I thank Morris and Yamaha, but also my trainer, my girlfriend, my family and all the sponsors that allow me to be there every year. Next season is very important to me and I hope to be able to prove my worth. Thank you, see you soon”, Lesiardo stated in a press release.
