Monticelli searching for a ride

The improvement that Ivo Monticelli has shown since moving up to the MXGP World Championship has been very impressive. After impressing at the JK Yamaha team, the Factory GasGas team decided to snap him up.

Last year, the Italian had some great results but injuries have meant this year hasn’t gone according to plan. If Monticelli can stay fit though, he could be a good signing for another team in the paddock.

With GasGas confirming Pauls Jonass and Brian Bogers for 2021, it means Monticelli is looking a new team for 2021.

The Standing Construct GasGas posted the following statement:

We want to thank “Don” @ivomonticelli for two very nice years and the fun and good atmosphere he brought in our team. Unfortunately the big progress we made last year was stopped this year because of injuries but nevertheless every minute we worked together was one with passion and effort of us both.
