Mitchell Harrison on his first Lommel GP – unreal!

American Mitchell Harrison rode well for his first visit to Lommel taking 12th overall but admitted the GP men are, ‘unreal,’ in the sand!

Despite placing close to the top ten, Harrison was briefly lapped by Prado until the mercurial Spaniard crashed a couple of turns later!

Harrison however kept up his great attitude to the world championship experience and was upbeat after while giving some big respect to the competition: “Loved every second of the Lommel track. The guys over here are unreal in the sand., going to have to spend all winter in the sand ”

With his attitude and potential it seems Harrison, who had numerous top five performances in the states and a podium, will be sticking around for 2020, and with a year’s experience under his belt should be one to keep an eye on next year!
