Meuwissen OUT for the season
It’s been a tough time for young Dutch talent, Raf Meuwissen recently due to injuries and unfortunately whilst he was preparing for his comeback, he crashed and dislocated his hip again.
It means the BT Husqvarna rider is ruled out for the rest of the season and will now focus on his return to racing in the 2021 season. Hopefully he’ll be able to put a full season together to fulfil his potential.
“3.5 weeks ago while training in @mcflevoland, I went into a corner on high speed and somehow when I put my leg down into the ground, I dislocated my left hip again, it was a hard pill to swallow and to be honest it broke my heart that it happened again.. We are now 3.5 weeks further and I’m able to walk again and do normal things, but I will be out for a couple months.. now its time to take some rest, and let heal my whole body after a difficult time and get ready for 2021”, Meuwissen stated on social media.
“In the end I want to thank a few people: @mcflevoland Thanks for the good help on the track!
@the.mackey.122 @mikkel_haarup @roanvdmoosdijk39 Thanks for helping me when I was down on the track!.
