Meara brothers join Edmonds on injury list!

Unfortunate news just a week before the start of the British Championship at Culham as John and Cailum Meara have both suffered from crashes practicing and are ruled out of Culham this weekend as a result.

John has been preparing to compete in the MX1 British Championship had a small crash but an  awkward landing and as a result has dislocated his collarbone. It’s not yet known how long he will be out for but he has a follow up appointment this week but surgery could be an option and he is definitely ruled out for round one.

Younger brother, Cailum who has been preparing for the British MXY2 championship has also suffered a shoulder injury damaging the ligaments. He has been told that it will be three months before he can get on the bike again.

With John, Cailum and Glenn McCormick definitely out and Stuart Edmonds very unlikely to ride that leaves Martin Barr, Graeme Irwin, Jason Meara and Luke Smith as the Irish riders competing at Culham this weekend.
