Max Anstie injury update after Ironman crash

Max Anstie has given an injury update after he hit the ground pretty hard during the second 450cc race at the Ironman National. Anstie was down as a couple of laps passed so it looked quite worrying.

Initially it was thought that Anstie had broken his jaw but after tests he’s revealed that he’s actually fine. The Brit will be pretty sore so it remains how long he’ll be out for or if he’ll try and ride on Friday at RedBud.

“Not the way we wanted to end the day. The thought my jaw was broken but just got the results back from the scans and I’m alright. It just feels like Conor McGregor gave me a left hook”, Anstie stated.
