Young Swiss EMX250 rider, Maurice Chanton unfortunately picked up an injury at the weekend. The Creymert KTM rider tore his ACL and the meniscus and has already had surgery. The Swiss rider is hoping to be back for Latvia in just less than a month!

“At the weekend in Zuckenriet I tore my ACL and the meniscus again. I had surgery today and they took out the ACL and meniscus. Thanks to @rennbahnklinik for the help. I‘ll give my best to be back on the gate in Latvia”, Chanton stated on social media.

After being outside the GP paddock for a couple of years, Chanton landed himself a ride to contest the EMX250 series this year with Creymert KTM so will be hoping to show what he can when he’s back at the races.
