Marco Maddii: The new Italian Championship format didn’t convince

In qualifying of the Mx2 Fast Barbaglia gets the best time in his group and Tuani the third. Excellent performance for Mattia Guadagnini third among the Mx2, Alberto Forato in the qualifying day did not find the right set-up for his bike and had to settle for seventh place.

Thanks to the two excellent results Mattia Guadagnini finishes on the podium in the Mx2 class with third place and Forato fifth in mx1 class.

In the two races of the Mx2 Fast excellent performance for Federico Tuani who occupies the fourth position in the general standings with the excellent second place of race 2, Eugenio Barbaglia made a few mistakes and was unable to do better than the 26th final position.

Marco Maddii: “We are happy, the boys in the times practice and in the two races have behaved well, perhaps something more was expected but with the long stop from the races it is never easy to resume. The track conditions were not the best, the new race format with the 250 and 450 together did not convince, the important thing is to stay safe and not to have made mistakes. For now the results of Mattia and Alberto satisfy us but we must improve. We move to Belgium to continue the preparation for Latvia.”
