Mantova reveal they’ll have triple GP

Mantova have confirmed they’ll have a triple GP in September, initially the track was expected to run two rounds but they’ve now revealed they’ll have three rounds of the series.

“Breaking News: a triple Grand Prix at Mantova. The first GP of Lombardy is scheduled for Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 September, the GP of Mantova will run on Tuesday 29 and Wednesday 30 September, the intense program will close with the GP of Europe on Saturday 3rd and Sunday October 4th. The WMX and EMX250 championships are also planned. The allocations confirm the Circuit Città di Mantua as a European reference system for motocross. All the details about public and press in tomorrow morning’s MCM press release”, Motocross Mantova stated on social media.

Other rumours circulating are that Arco di Trento and Faenza will make up the other six rounds of MXGP with the potential triple header at Lommel in doubt but the official calendar is coming soon.
