Lorenzo Locurcio heading to BUD Racing?

It looks like the BUD Kawasaki Team have turned to the American paddock for a Mitchell Harrison replacement after it was revealed he’d be leaving the team. Lorenzo Locurcio, from Venezuela has plenty of experience in the AMA paddock and has had some solid Supercross results in the past.

Last year, Locurcio had actually inked a deal with the BUD Racing team as a replacement rider for Brian Hsu but had a passport issue – it was set to expire and wasn’t allowed to travel. However, that all looks to be in order this time around.

Locurcio is on the entry list for the opening round of the French Elite MX2 Championship this weekend and on the EMX250 entry list for Latvia but we are still awaiting official news from the team. Moving forward, it does look as though the BUD Racing team are going to concentrate on the European Championships.
