Line Dam signs with JK Yamaha

Young Danish talent, Line Dam has secured a ride for the 2021 WMX season. After it was revealed that Lynn Valk left the JK Yamaha Racing team, the team have swopped in to ink a deal with Dam.

Dam is still young at 22 years old and has a lot of potential, in the future she could be one of the main front runners in the WMX World Championship.

The JK Yamaha team have also recently confirmed that Manuel Iacopi will stay with the team for 2021. He’ll move up to the 450cc and race the EMX open class as well as the Italian championship.

“I have been in contact with JK racing for a while, and when they asked me to join the team it was hard to say no. With Yamaha motor Scandinavian and Easy MX behind me here in Denmark, we decided to say yes to the offer, super happy. I hope to battle for more top 5 results in 2021, and I will keep pushing myself to get better and hopefully battle with the girls out in front. I would like to thanks JK RACING for the opportunity, and also EasyMX and Yamaha motor Scandinavian, for believing in me and continue the support in 2021”, Dam told GateDrop.com.

“Welcome to @LineDam131 in the JK family. We are looking forward to start the preparation for the 2021 WMX World Championship with this girl”, the team stated on social media.
