Lieber: Wrist not fully recovered from last year

Belgian talent, Julien Lieber didn’t race the second moto at the Lacapelle Marvial International event and he’s now revealed why. Lieber was struggling with a painful wrist all day as it’s not yet fully recovered from his injury last year so the JM Honda rider decided not to race the second moto.

With less than two weeks before the start of the MXGP World Championship it’s not ideal for Lieber but he’ll be hoping his wrist is fully recovered as soon as possible so he can get good results in the World Championship.

“The pre season races didn’t go as I wanted them to. I decided not to race the second moto in LaCapelle-Marival as I am struggling with a painful wrist, which has not yet fully recovered since my injury last year. I’ll do a few more checks to see whether anything can be done or not. Thank you to @jmhondaracing, to @lovemytraining and all the people supporting me”, Lieber stated.
