Lewis Tombs racing Matterley Basin!

Lewis Tombs hasn’t rode a round of the EMX250 Championship since the last time the series came to Great Britain. Tombs last competed a round of the series at Matterley Basin back in 2016.

However, Tombs has decided to contest another round of the series at Matterley Basin yet again this weekend on his Putoline Husqvarna. The Brit is having a consistent season as he sits eighth in the MX2 Maxxis British Championship and he’ll want to show what he can do in the European stage again.

Tombs will be hoping this weekend goes better than in 2016 when he managed to pick up two points.

Tombs: “I was in two minds whether to do the EMX250 race this weekend or not as it’s an expensive weekend but the chance to race at a Matterley and have a go against a quality field excited me. We had a big break in the British calendar so it made sense. I’m looking forward to getting stuck in and doing the best I can”, Tombs exclusively told GateDrop.com.
