Lapucci switches to KTM!
Nicholas Lapucci will switch to KTM machinery for the 2017 season. Since moving up to the MX2 World Championship he has been with Assomotor Honda and the 8Biano Husqvarna teams. The Italian did have a deal with the 8Biano squad for next year as well but after the signings of Iker Larranaga, Ivan Petrov and Caleb Ward they didn’t have room for him.
Nicholas has signed with the Italian Factory KTM team and will compete in at least the European rounds of the MX2 World Championship. The GP paddock welcomes yet another new team that will compete throughout the 2017 season. There is a chance Lapucci could also ride the oversea races. Daniel Petrin and Alessio Gasparini will be under the awning too but only to compete in the Italian championship.
Lapucci joins a long list of Italians that include Samuele Bernardini, Michele Cervellin, Ivo Monticelli, Davide Bonini, Simone Furlotti and Simeone Zecchina to name a few that are hoping for plenty of success in the MX2 World Championship during the 2017 season.
