KNMV ONK: Results from Markelo!

Filip Bengtsson was in impressive form on his KTM as he won both moto’s to take the overall victory. He won both moto’s from Micha-Boy de Waal and Jonathan Bengtsson respectively. De Waal did enough to clinch second overall on his Honda.
In the MX2 class it was Nick Kouwenberg who impressed as he won both of his moto’s on the Yamaha. He could be a dark horse in the EMX250 class this year. Lars Van Berkel was solid to finish both of the moto’s in second position.
Fast rookie, Roan Van de Moosdijk was actually winning the first moto by around twenty seconds with two laps to go but crashed out. He didn’t start the second moto but hopefully he has escaped an injury with the start of the EMX250 series just around the corner.
A Brit stood on top of the 125cc podium as Christopher Mills was strong all day on his Yamaha. He was leading the first moto before crashing but he was able to remount and catch Raf Meuwissen to win.
In the second moto he just did enough to win as Meuwissen was just less than two seconds behind but it was a very good weekend for Mills before the start of the EMX125 series gets underway at Valkenswaard.
