Kim Savaste back on the bike!

After Kim Savaste picked up a serious back injury at the Motocross Des Nations the initial thoughts were that he would be out for most of the 2017 season. It was a big blow for the talented Finnish rider as this year was set to be his rookie year in the EMX250 Championship moving up from the 125cc machine.
A few months later and Kim has made a wonderful recovery. He is already back on the bike and he now heads to France to put in the hard work before the start of the season. The plan is that he will conest at the first EMX250 round in Italy so he might not even miss a round!
It is going to be a learning year in the EMX250 class as he will be a rookie in the class but hopefully he hasn’t lost any of his speed after his injury as he is a big talent and could put in some good results. The BUD Kawasaki team have an incredibly strong team in the class this year with two American’s, Tristan Charboneau and Marshal Weltin partnering the Finnish rider under the awning.
