Kawasaki announce MX2 team for 2017!

Kawasaki Racing team have announced their rider line up for the MX2 World Championship during the 2017 season. Dylan Ferrandis and Hunter Lawrence depart the team. Dylan switches to the Star Racing Yamaha in the states while Hunter switches to Factory Suzuki for his rookie MX2 World Championship season where he will work under Stefan Everts.

Petar Petrov will stay in the team as expected. Joining him will be British rider, Adam Sterry who switches from the STR KTM outfit. It is thought that Adam has signed a three year deal which will take him to the end of his MX2 career.

Joining Adam in the team will be French rider, Stephen Rubini who moves up from the EMX125 championship. Stephen was challenging for the title before he picked up an injury and had to miss the last two rounds, he was still able to finish second in the series.

Kawasaki are clearly focused on the future and this is an exciting team. Sterry and Rubini are good prospects for the team in the future.
