Julien Lieber update

Remember the talented Belgian, Julien Lieber? Unfortunately, he needed to get an operation on his hips before the start of the season which meant he has missed the entire 2016 season. However, he has finally updated us on his current situation.

He is now ready to start training again but not quite ready to get back on the bike. All being well he will have a full off-season to prepare for the 2017 season. The 2017 season will be his last year in the MX2 class so it is important he has a good year to secure an MXGP ride.

It remains to be seen if he will stay with the Standing Construct Yamaha team as their are going to be lots of changes with Yamaha’s structure for the 2017 season but hopefully we will hear soon.

Julien’s hips are slowly recovering from the 4 surgeries and his shoulder is feeling better again as well.

He’s now ready to start training again (not on the bike yet).
