Josh Spinks confirmed for Manchester MC’s Husqvarna!

It hasn’t been looking too good for Josh Spinks as he has been without a ride since the end of the season. After competing in the MX1 British Championship and finishing a respectable fourteenth in the championship it is quite surprising it took him so long to get sorted for the 2017 season. Josh left the Heads N Threads Suzuki outfit before the end of the 2016 season and finished the year on a Geartec Yamaha but they couldn’t support him for next year.

However, he has inked a deal with the privateer outfit in the Manchester MC’s Husqvarna team for next season. He will begin testing the 250 and the 450 machine shortly before deciding what championship to compete in for the 2017 season.

He will join Alexander Brown under the awning as he will contest the MX2 British Championship for the team.

The only rider currently without a ride that finished in the top ten of the British MX1 Championship in 2016 is Stuart Edmonds, hopefully like Spinks he will find himself a ride in the British paddock.

Josh Spinks: “I’m really happy to be riding Husqvarna’s for Manchester MC’s and lining up in the British Championship for 2017! It wasn’t looking promising a few weeks back, but now I have a solid direction I can gather the final bits of support I need to compete with the big guns. I will be testing both bikes in the next week, to decide on MX2 or MX1. A Big thanks to Carl at Manchester MC’s and everyone else in my corner!
