Jay Wilson secures a new ride!

Jay Wilson signed to contest the MX2 World Championship for the I Fly JK Yamaha squad for the 2017 season. However, after round six of the series at Valkenswaard, he decided to return to Australia as he’s recently became a father and results wise things weren’t working out in the MX2 World Championship.
Since returning to Australia he has been on a look out for a new ride and it’s now been announced that he has signed with the Raceline Pirelli KTM outfit. Jay made his debut with the team at the MX Nationals during the weekend where he finished ninth overall in the MX2 class. He will now take part in the final four rounds of the MX Nationals series and then take part in the Australian Supercross series.
Jay posted the following message on social media, “I’m pumped to announce that I’ve joined Raceline Pirelli KTM for the final five rounds of Motocross and Supercross in the MX2 class. I’ve had some of the best times in my career with KTM, and I’m pumped to finally get back on a bike and have the opportunity to race the KTM SX-F 250. Big thanks to those who have stuck by me, especially my personal sponsors and the fiancĂ© who has put up with me this year. Looking forward to getting back at it at Nowra.”
