James Dunn makes history in France!

Youthstream changed the rules of the EMX250 championship for this year to allow two strokes to race along with the four strokes in the class. We had to wait until the final round but James Dunn becomes the first two stroke winner of a EMX250 round.
During the first moto, Dunn rode well to clinch second. At one stage he was catching Charboneau but the American proved to be too strong in moto one.
However, after a lot of heavy night rain, conditions were totally different for moto two as it became a race of survival.
The race got of to a disaster for the Brit because he was parked at the gate and he was last as he got away on the first lap. He stayed composed and calm though on his GL12 KTM. It looked like he would finish in fourth but then on the final lap, Morgan Lesiardo who was leading got stuck and Dunn ended up a superb third which gave him the overall victory!
The French fans had something to cheer about too as Anthony Bourdon took advantage of Lesiardo’s last lap mistake to win the second moto and end up third overall on the podium. Simone Zecchina ended up second overall on the podium as he came home in second in moto two.
