Jake Shipton says goodbye to Crescent Yamaha – big change in 2021

Jake Shipton has had some good results in the British Championship over the years and has formed a good relationship with the Crescent Yamaha team.

The Brit has confirmed he’s leaving the team and will have a big change on the horizon for the 2021 season.

“I’d like to thank the guys at crescent motorcycles, the staff from retail and the WSBK team personnel for all their help and support for many years, I achieved my best results with the team. Paul Denning gave me the opportunity of a life time to race bikes for a living, and I’ll be forever grateful for that. Turning me from a chubby kid from Wareham racing club level to being fit and fighting for wins/podiums at the British Championship and travelling Europe. I’ve made many friends, had many laughs, highs and lows but Crescent/yamaha have been there through it all. For that I can’t thank them enough. A friendship that will last a life time. 2021 will be a big change for me, super excited”, Shipton stated on social media.

We will have to wait and hear what the big change could be for Shipton in 2021 but hopefully he sticks around in the Motocross paddock.
