Jacobi racing a KTM for Germany this weekend!

Max Nagl (MXGP), Dennis Ullrich (OPEN) and Henry Jacobi (MX2) will represent Germany at the Motocross Des Nations this weekend.
Henry who contested the MX2 World Championship for JTech Honda throughout the 2016 season won’t be racing his JTech Honda at the Nations this weekend.
Instead, he will race for his old team, Sarholz KTM who Dennis Ullrich currently rides for. Henry rode well on the Sarholz KTM during the 2016 season when he contested the European rounds of the MX2 World Championship.
His good performances and speed earned him a full time GP ride for 2017 with JTech Honda. However, he hasn’t put in the performances and results some would have expected. He didn’t seem to gel with the Honda all that well.
However, he will ride for the Sarholz KTM this weekend at the Nations. He has been testing the bike for a few weeks now and actually rode the ADAC championship at the weekend for the team. We can’t read too much into his results at that race as it was a mud race.
It will be interesting to see what the future holds for Henry, he is a talented rider and hopefully he can stay in the GP paddock. Whether or not that will be with a return to the Sarholz KTM outfit remains to be seen. He will be motivated to put on a good showing this weekend to get himself a GP ride for 2017!
