Jacobi likely to miss Mantova
Matterley Basin’s circuit, close to Winchester, hold the Eleventh GP of this 2016 World Championship season. The high-speed track, full of spectacular jumps, was much more tough lap by lap due to the deep ruts. There were all the conditions for some exciting races but unfortunately, as every year, we have seen also many crashes. The Honda JTech team was not in its entirety in Great Britain because Giuseppe Tropepe and Nick Kouwenberg are both still injured.
After a bad start in both races, Henry Jacobi was able to recover the gap and finish in 20th position in Race 1. In the Second Heat the German boy had a huge crash at the third lap, where he hit hardly the head. Jacobi was forced to retire and he will be probably out also next weekend for the Italian GP.
Nick Adams, just back after three weeks of stop due to the injury of the collarbone, gained a 17th place in the First Race after a small crash while he was cruising in the top-ten. In the Second Race the South African had a very good start, despite the bad position at the gate, and he captured a great 8th place, his best result of the season so far.
Zonta, after a nice qualification, did few mistakes in the races while he was riding in the point-zone. In the First Race he has to give up after two crashes, while in the Second Race he crossed the finish in 28th.
The World Championship will move to Italy next weekend for the MXGP of Lombardia, in Mantova.
