Simone Furlotti and Alessandro Lupino won at the fourth round of the Italian Championship. In the MX2 class it was Michele Cervellin who got his day of to a great start winning the first moto ahead of Furlotti. Tropepe who made a welcome return to racing following his shoulder injury rode well to secure third ahead of Rubini.
In the second race Furlotti was able to win and that gave him the overall, Cervellin could only come home in fifth. Rubini put on a better showing in the second moto to cross the line in second which gave him third overall meaning Tropepe just missed out on a podium.
In the MX1 class it was Valentin Guillod who had the perfect start to the day winning the first moto but he didn’t get it easy as Goncalves kept it to less than a second! It was Lupino who won the second moto and took the overall with that as he had the better second race result.
Rui Goncalves ended his day on a bright note as he won the super-final from Lupino. Cervellin rode strong as he passed Guillod to finish third against the 450 machines.
