Mick Mc Ginn is the Team Manager for 2017.

Comment from Mick Mc Ginn: I’m delighted with the final selection this year, it was very hard for the MCUI Motocross Commission to select who was NOT going, in fact we could have fielded two teams from each class. I am confident of an improved result from last year from each class, both Wilson, Gray and Meara have been at last year’s event and will add their experience and confidence to each class. The course is not typical of the MX tracks which we are familiar with in Ireland. It is very fast over stubble with a dried up deep ravine winding through the stubble. The drop offs in to the ravine could be off putting to our riders who have not been at Basiuex before however we will combat this pre-event with purpose made jumps where we will train the riders. I would like to take this opportunity to thank our sponsors this year , however there is still space on the jerseys for another sponsor, you contact me at mx1mmg@gmail.com if you would like to help.”
