Injury update: Jago Geerts

Jago Geerts suffered from a crash whilst battling with team mate, Ben Watson for the second moto win as well as the overall at the final round of the MX2 World Championship.

The Belgian hit the ground quite hard and that was the end of his race and season. It’s now been revealed that he’s fractured his shoulder as a result.

“At first, we thought that my left shoulder was dislocated. After X-rays it turned out I have a fracture in the top of the shoulder. The fracture is painful so I will have to grit my teeth. We left immediately with the mobile home and hope to arrive in the hospital of Herentals, Belgium, tomorrow morning for further examination”, Geerts stated on social media.
