Injury update: Edvards Bidzans

Young Latvian rider, Edvards Bidzans was gearing up for his rookie season in the EMX125 championship but was a no show at the first round of the series last weekend at Matterley Basin.

It’s now been revealed that Bidzans who signed with Tanel Leok’s A1M Husqvarna team tore his ACL at the final round of the International Italian Championship which means he requires surgery next week and will face a lengthy injury spell.

“I have been hiding this from social media the last few weeks but it’s time to tell the bad news. In the last round of the Italian international championship in the 1st race I tore my ACL. I am having surgery next week and then I will start the rehab. I am disappointed in myself, but I know that I will come back stronger than ever. Huge thanks to everyone that wished me a speedy recovery”, Bidzans stated.
