Injury for Vaessen!
One of the riders making the jump from the EMX250 class to the MX2 World Championship this year is Suzuki rider, Bas Vaeseen.
The Dutch rider has showed some good speed at the first two rounds but hasn’t really got the results to show it. He didn’t have a good weekend in Argentina as he crashed in the first moto and has picked up an injury as a result.
Bas has broke his collarbone but it’s not yet confirmed how long he will be out for and how many GP rounds he will miss.
Bas posted the following message on his Instagram, “Got some bad news… broke my collarbone in the first moto.. riding was best of all weekend till I crashed when my front wheel skidded while landing.. when I’m back home I’m going to get it all checked out and I’ll post when I know more! Thanks for the support to the team @suzukiworldmxgp #IllComeBackStronger”.
Hopefully Bas heals up soon and makes a full recovery so we can see him back at the races soon.
