Iker Larrañaga signs with Creymert Racing
Iker Larrañaga has signed with Creymert Racing and will compete in the European rounds of the MX2 World championship! Iker competed in the EMX250 championship in 2015 but picked up some injuries so missed most the season. However, he did impress in the races that he did contest as his best moto result was an eighth place finish at the Spanish GP. He was able to back this up with strong tenth place finish in the second moto at the British GP.
A fully-fit Iker could put in some good results in the MX2 World championship and it is nice to see a new team compete in the championship as Creymert have stepped up to give him a ride. Iker will also compete in the ONK Dutch championship, Spanish championship and Belgian championship races.
Before the Motocross season, Iker will go to America and compete in two AMA Supercross events under the Troy lee Designs KTM awning which is a big opportunity for him.
Iker posted the following message on his facebook page “Starts this 2016 with very good news and exciting projects ahead. It’s official, I’ll give you the jump to the world with the team mx2 Belgian Creymert Racing!! I’ll have also the opportunity to fulfill my dream of traveling to California to participate in 2 races of the ama sx with the official team Troy Lee Designs / Red Bull / KTM. Now it’s time to put your feet on the ground and get back to work hard. #Dreamscometrue”
