Husqvarna-SKS Racing and KNMV join forces to run EMX125 team

The KNMV and Husqvarna-SKS Racing are joining forces to give young MX talent the opportunity to develop into World class riders! The first riders in this new collaboration are Cas Valk and Kay Karssemakers.

The KNMV has a full-time CTO program for talented motocross riders at the sports medical center Papendal. The CTO (Center for Top Sports and Education) combines sports with education. Top athletes are trained with the help of the specialists of Papendal.

Developing young talent is also in the Husqvarna-SKS Racing DNA. This results in a great collaboration, which means that from 2021, in addition to the physical, mental and nutritional knowledge at Papendal, the CTO program will also focus on technical knowledge and support during training and competitions by Husqvarna-SKS Racing.

Kay Karssemakers and Cas Valk were already in the KNMV CTO program and thus will start 2021 in the colors of Husqvarna-SKS Racing. Kay will compete in the EMX125 and DMoMX250, Cas in the EMX125 and DMoMX125.

I am really looking forward to working with Toine Uijttewaal and his team. ”

Toine Uijttewaal, owner Husqvarna-SKS Racing:

“We are proud to become a partner in the KNMV CTO concept. A unique concept in which the further development of selected talented MX riders is key. ”

“Our Husqvarna-SKS Racing Team can draw on years of experience in the sport and with Husqvarna Motorcycles and WP-Suspension we guarantee MX bikes that can compete at the highest level.”

“I am sure that our professional approach and structured way of working is an important added value for the coaching that the KNMV offers the young CTO riders.”

“Together with the KNMV, we have brought together a unique package of specialisms with only one goal: to bring young talents to the top of the MX sport. A challenge that we would like to take on in 2021 with Kay Karssemakers and Cas Valk.”
