Young Austrian talent, Rene Hofer has won the third round of the EMX125 series in Latvia.

Hofer’s weekend didn’t get off to a good start after only finishing third in the first moto, Hofer acknowledged he didn’t ride good in the first moto and was looking to turn it around in the second moto.

The KTM Junior rider did precisely that and he looked much better for race two. He was able to pass Simon Laengenfelder to bring home a comfortable twelve second win.

In terms of the championship, Hofer has increased his points lead as he’s now opened up a thirty four points advantage over French rider, Thibault Bénistant.
