Herlings wins as Cairoli crashes and injures knee!

Jeffrey Herlings took both moto wins in Switzerland and said he feels on top of the world as Tony Cairoli went over the bars in moto one after stalling over a jump and injuring his knee.

Cairoli still rode moto two and took sixth but says he feels his knee is unstable and will get it checked out tomorrow to see what the damage is.

Herlings had to battle harder in race two with Desalle leading and Febvre pressuring the Dutchman but once Herlings took the lead at the halfway point he slowly stretched the gao over Febvre as Gajser shoved Desalle out of the way for third in race two but Desalle still took third overall.

Shaun Simpson threw his hat in the ring for the MXoN with team GB by taking an impressive ninth overall to show he is really back on form after a tough season.
