Herlings verses Webb at Charlotte USGP!

A Herlings verses Webb showdown is on the cards at round 17 of the MXGP World Championship at Charlotte Motor SPeedway, after Copper Webb said he will race Mx2 despite being USA’s 450 rider for the MXON just 2 weeks later.

Last year Webb raced a 450 at Glen Helen USGP in preparation for the MXON and we were expecting him to race both USGP’s on the big bike this year too. However the prospect of Americas best 250 rider up against the Worlds best 250 rider is a mouth watering match up. Jeffrey Herlings should be back to full fitness and is making his return to racing at Assen on the 28 August. Whilst Herlings may have to deal with the pressure of wrapping up the Mx2 World Championship at Charlotte after losing two titles to injury in 2014 and 2015, you can be sure he will not want the aggressive American showing him up!
