Herlings hints at “opportunity”
Jeffrey Herlings has added yet more speculation on his future. A few days ago he posted ‘108’ on his Instagram story with only 108 days to the first AMA National at Hangtown.
Now, he’s posted another message on social media with plenty of speculation he could ride the AMA Motocross series in 2019.
“Healing is a matter of time, but it sometimes also gives a opportunity”, Herlings posted.
KTM have confirmed that it’s unlikely the MXGP World Champion will make it back in time for round one of MXGP in Argentina after breaking his foot. Herlings is set to meet with the doctor again in six weeks time when he’ll know more regarding his injury.
If he does miss the first 3-4 rounds of the MXGP World Championship then could he really contest the AMA Motocross Championship? Time will tell but the next check up with the doctor could be key in Herlings short term future.
