Guillod to make British GP return!

Valentin Guillod unfortunately picked up an injury whilst preparing for the 2018 MXGP World Championship. The Swiss talent broke two bones in his lower leg but got back on the bike at the start of the month.

Guillod has now confirmed he will make his MXGP return at Matterley Basin this weekend. It will be nice to see the likeable Swiss rider back in the paddock and hopefully he can show his full potential between now and the end of the season.

Coming into the season Guillod inked a deal with his old team, the Standing Construct KTM team and this will be his first race with the team since signing the deal.

Matterley Basin is a good track for Guillod as he battled with Jeffrey Herlings during his MX2 days back in 2015 and even came out on top as he won the Grand Prix that weekend.

Guillod confirmed the news on social media he will make his return to racing this weekend:

My 2018 season never been so close to start with @standingktm team, after a broken leg in January, some surgery and a lot of work. I finally will be being the Gate this weekend for the UK Gp . Je serai enfin au départ du Gp d’Angleterre ce week-end. @shotbybavo
