Graeme Irwin to be British Masters Ambassador!
The Pirelli British Masters have announced that their reigning MX1 champion, Graeme Irwin, has accepted an ambassador role for the series.
Graeme Irwin: “I think it’s going to be really good for the series and the sport in the UK. I’m here to promote the championship and also represent the riders in the series. It’s a championship that has a lot of potential and I want to help it grow. “I’m not the sort of person who keeps his opinion to himself so if I see something that I feel can be improved I will speak up. I’ll be the riders’ voice and if the riders are happy then the racing will be better and more riders will want to be involved which will make it more fun for the fans.”
“It’s great to have Graeme as the ambassador for the Pirelli British Masters,” said a delighted Colin Hambridge. “Graeme is not only a great rider but also a fantastic person. He’s willing to give back to the sport he truly loves doing.” To sign-up the champion for 2017 is a boost for series and the organisers say they have lots of plans for Graeme, which will be announced in the coming weeks. “We thank him for taking on the role and hope everyone enjoys the 2017 season with us and the plans we have with Graeme,” added Hambridge.
