Forato out of MX2 in Valkenswaard
Alberto Forato will not be racing today in Valkenswaard after a big crash in the qualifying race yesterday.
The big Italian announced the news on social media saying: “I’m so sorry but I can’t be on the gate today at Valkenswaard gp because of the big crash that i had yesterday in the quali race. Thanks to all. And sorry to all.”
Forato had ridden superbly through the field at Matterley Basin to take sixth overall but he hit the ground hard in Valkenswaard and it was clearly too much pain to race today. See the crash below:
