Forato names the best race of his career
Last year, Alberto Forato had a strong season in the EMX250 championship and showed great speed. In the end, Forato finished third in the championship but speed wasn’t the issue – his starts were.
At his home round of the EMX250 series last year at Arco di Trento, Forato had a great weekend dominating the event going 1-1 and Forato calls it one of the best days of his life. Winning in front of your home crowd is always a great feeling and what youngsters dream of when growing up.
“This time last year was one of the best races of my career and one of the best days of my life. To go 1-1 in front of my country, with my family and my fans was amazing. I really can’t explain my feeling that day”, Forato stated.
This year, Forato has moved up to the MX2 World Championship and showed at round one at Matterley Basin he has the speed for good results. At round one despite bad starts he worked his way through the field in both moto’s to secure sixth overall. There’s no reason why the Maddii Husqvarna rider can’t get on the box this year.
