Fernandez IN for Sweden!
As David Herbreteau recently picked up a shoulder injury and is ruled out of the Swedish GP, the F&H Kawasaki out have decided to draft in Ruben Fernandez for the MX2 Grand Prix this weekend.
This will be Fernandez’s second MX2 GP of the year as he also competed at Loket where he picked up his first World Championship points finishing sixteenth in moto one.
The Spanish talent had a good weekend in Switzerland competing in the EMX250 series as he finished second in the first moto and finished seventh overall. He is now joint third in the series with Alberto Forato, he will hope to secure third in the championship at his last ever EMX250 in France later in the year as he will move to the MX2 World Championship in 2018.
Herbreteau will focus on making a return to racing during the Dutch GP taking place at Assen.
