Dungey to retire? The champ to decide on future by Vegas!

Reigning supercross champion Ryan Dungey has admitted he has not signed a contract for 2018 yet and will decide if he will retire or continue racing by Las Vegas next month!
In an interview during with Fox Sports, Dungey said he is still focussed on 2017 and the remaining supercross races plus the outdoor season.
“I haven’t really made up my mind yet.” admitted the reigning champion. “I’m just focussing on the right here, right now. To talk 2018 is a little bit too far ahead for me.”
But then Dungey concluded by saying: “I want to have my mind made up by Vegas.”
It means the champ has had the future of his career and his life on his mind alongside the pressure of the title fight, nevermind the recent incident with Chad Reed. It is a stressfull time for Dungey but if this is Dungey’s final year – you know he will want to go out as the supercross champion!
If Dungey does win, it will give him an astonishing four supercross titles, the same as his long-time rival Ryan Villopoto, with only Ricky Carmichael (five) and Jeremy McGrath (seven) on more.
Enjoy this last month of supercross racing with one of the greatest and smartest riders America has produced, it just might be the final supecross races of his career!
