Desprey to focus racing in France in 2019!
Maxime Desprey who’s spent a year and a half with the Gebben van Venrooy Kawasaki Racing and will finish the season with them has secured his future for the 2019 season.
The French rider has signed a deal to focus on the French Elite Championship and the SX Tour after signing a deal with Team SR Honda in France. Desprey has rode a Honda before during his days in the MX2 World Championship so won’t be completely unfamiliar with the Honda.
It’s a shame to see him leaving the Gebben van Venrooy Kawasaki team after he’s showed some good speed this year but that GP team will now have a free slot beside Alessandro Lupino, it will be interesting to see who ends up there!
