Desalle OUT of the Nations!

Belgium have been dealt a huge blow for the MXON with Clement Desalle announcing that after his knee injury sustained at Glen Helen, he will not be able to represent Belgium in France.

Desalle said on Instagram: “Not the end of the season that I wish. Hurt my knee on saturday in glen helen. Got news from my doctor today. The injury is not so bad for my body (positive) but unfortunately I need some weeks rest. no #kester, #mxon , #smx #teambelgium   #nothappy”

It means Jeremy Van Horebeek who was originally slated to ride a 250 may now now go back to the 450 with Brent Van Doninck the leading candidate to ride the 250.

Belgium were arguably favourites for the event but team USA will now take over that tag and with team France out of form and not known for their starts, America surely can’t lose again?
