David Herbreteau signs with Gariboldi Honda!

After Gariboldi Honda and Tim Gajser decided it was the right time for him to move up to the MXGP class it meant they needed to sign a replacement rider in MX2. David Herbreteau has signed for the team to contest the EMX250 championship and three MX2 races – he will team up with Jorge Zaragoza in the class.

David broke the news on his instagram account and commented “Really happy to join the @teamhondagariboldiracing. So grateful to Giacomo for his trust and support. #Honda #HRC #hondaracingcorporation #teamgariboldi #foxheadeurope”.

Last year was David’s first year on the 250 machine as he rode in the EMX250 class and put in some good results. It will be interesting to see how he will perform in the class on the Honda and if he can be a front runner!

UPDATE** Gariboldi have decided that David will race the MX2 world championship except for the first four over-sea GP’s!
