David Herbreteau picks up injury!
Whilst preparing for the MXGP of Lommel this weekend, the talented French rider, David Herbreteau has picked up an injury.
Unfortunately whilst without even crashing, Herbreteau has dislocated his left shoulder.
This rules Herbreteau out of at least Lommel GP this weekend. The F&H Kawasaki outfit are now expected to draft in Ruben Fernandez to contest his second MX2 GP on the bounce.
Herbreteau posted the following message on social media:
Today was the last training before Lommel, training was going really well and the feeling was pretty good but unfortunately without crashing I dislocated my left shoulder when I wanted to put my bike straight in a small skii jump. I’m really frustrated that this happen at 15 min to the end of the day but it is how it is.
I already went to hospital to put it back and got checked up that nothing is going bad inside, I’m going to have an X-ray tomorrow to be sure and I will let you know how it goes. I’m not gonna take the risk to ride in Lommel this weekend. Feel disappointed because I was putting all the effort and work I can to be ready for this Heavy Gp. I will come back to all of you when I have more news!
Thanks to all the people around me at the track for the help!”
