Covington OUT – Mewse steps up!

Unfortunately, Thomas Covington has been ruled out for the Latvian GP this weekend. TC has been battling with a broken ankle since the week before Valkenswaard and has been struggling with it ever since. To make things even worse he broke his hand in the qualification race during the Mexican GP. Thomas is currently at home in America recovering, hopefully he will be back on the bike soon.

We believe that Conrad Mewse who was so impressive in Valkenswaard during the first EMX250 round, he won both the moto’s and leads the series – will step up for the MX2 round this weekend to replace Covington. This means he will miss the second round of the EMX250 championship that he leads – you would think the team will keep him in MX2 for the rest of the season because of that, we will keep you updated! It also means someone else will leave Latvia with the EMX250 red plate.
