Cooper Webb and USGP’s!!
After Assen takes place this weekend the MXGP World Championship will head to America for the last two rounds of the 2016 season. As well as the top MXGP riders competing, the top American riders will also take part at the event.
Cooper Webb will race the MX2 class in Charlotte. We will finally get to see Herlings and Webb go at it, the best two 250 riders in the world. After Charlotte, the series hits Glen Helen.
Cooper will then race in the MXGP class a week later at Glen Helen just like he did last year where he finished third overall. Webb will use it as prep for the nations taking place in Italy where he will ride the 450 machine.
Just how stacked will the MXGP class be in Glen Helen? We will get to watch the World’s best riders competing together in Tim Gajser, Romain Febvre, Antonio Cairoli, Copper Webb and Eli Tomac – all in one class! We are in for a great few weeks of racing when the series hits America.
If Herlings manages to clinch the MX2 World Championship before the last round there is even a chance he could race the MXGP class at Glen Helen but even without him the talent and depth in the class with be breath taking.
