Confirmed: Genot stays with A1M Husqvarna
The A1M Husqvarna team initially only signed Cyril Genot to contest the Latvian and German rounds of the MX2 World Championship.
However, the Belgian has impressed Tanel Leok who runs the team so it’s now been decided Genot will stay with the team longer. At the moment he will definitely do Loket and Lommel with a chance of doing the rest of the MX2 World Championship rounds too.
It’s a big opportunity for the young Belgian to stay with the team. If he impresses it will help put him in the shop window for a full time MX2 ride in 2020.
“I’m really happy to get the opportunity to continue to race the MX2 World Championship series. It’s still a learning process for me this year but we will give our best. I am really looking forward to it,” Genot told GateDrop.com.
