Cole Seely apologises: “Sorry for letting everyone down”

After looking solid in the dry on Saturday, Cole Seely struggled big time in the mud on Sunday at the Motocross of Nations and then his factory HRC Honda’s shock collapsed!

It was a nightmare day for rider and bike but Cole simply wasn’t used to those condition being from California and historically been known as a supercross specialist even if his outdoor performances have improved in the last few years.

The disappointed American said on his Instagram: “I’m so bummed. Sorry for letting everyone down. Thanks for the opportunity and to my family and friends for supporting me. Thanks to the fans sticking up for me. No excuses I failed today.”

It shows how much of a classy guy Seely is that he didn’t even blame the bike, acknowledging the conditions simply got the best of him, but it also shows the pressure the US guys feel when he comes out and makes such a statement. But Seely still gave his all and should still be proud of his efforts and can always say he rode for team USA.
