Change of team for Marshal Weltin at Lommel

Marshal Weltin inked a deal with the VAMO Honda team for this year in the MX2 World Championship. However, due to injuries at the F&H Kawasaki Racing team, they have contacted Weltin and reached a deal with him to contest the MX2 World Championship at Lommel this weekend.

With Jed Beaton and Ruben Fernandez currently out injured the American will join Adam Sterry under the awning this weekend.

It will be interesting to see if Weltin and the F&H Racing team will be able to strike a deal for the rest of the season after Lommel.

It’s worth pointing out that this is Marshal Weltin’s first and final year in the MX2 World Championship due to the age rule so it won’t be possible for him to contest the series next year.
